Have been a fan of Mark Lane for years and must say that he seems to become stronger with each release. This type of music originally was thought of as noodling around with the boxes in the early days but by now has gained a great respectibility as it influenced everything from electro to techno. Electro minimalism is a legimate genre and Mark Lane is one of its leaders.
