Comments for Costello, Elvis, Get Happy!!

This is my most-hummed album of all time. In this one work, EC seems to mature past his previous style, which involved decent music with really great, if dense, lyrics, and instead makes a musically infectious album that still has the complex, multilayered lyrics we have come to know and love. From the opening stanza of "Love for Tender" (yes, an EC song with a wicked groove) to the closer "Riot Act" (a gorgeous, spacious auditory experience), everything just flows right. An essential part of any record collection.
