Comments for Costello, Elvis, Trust

Why this album has always received weak reviews in the past is beyond me. I have always read that it is a fans' fave, but what makes it sour on the critics' ears? The Attractions have never sounded better, and "Strict Time" is a perfect song if ever there was one. I guess my only complaint about trust would be directed at "luxembourg", but the rest is excellent Elvis. Don't listen to the critics!

Hey, I love Elvis Costello, but this one just isn''t that good. There are some catchy tunes, but no real classics. "Clubland" is as close as you''ll get.
