Some corrections: The cd was produced in 1986, produced by Bruce Bromberg and Dennis Walker. The label was Hightone Records (PolyGram Records/Mercury) catalog was 830568 Style: Blues The Songs were: 1.Smoking Gun (4.06) 2. I guess I showed her (3.37) 3. Right next door (Because of me) (4.18) 4. Nothin' but a woman (3.56) 5. Still around (3.40) 6. More than I can stand (2.57) 7. Foul Play (4.06) 8. I wonder (3.55) 9. Fantasized (4.02) 10. New blood (4.19) As this was Cray's real breakthrough piece, "Smokin' Gun" (the first single) got tremendous airplay and kindled a resurgence of the Blues to mainstream radio again. Does he ever get credit? Nah.

I WILL BE HAPPY TO GIVE ROBERT CRAY SOME CREDIT. AFTER PURCHASING AND LISTENING REPEATEDLY TO STRONG PERSUADER, IT TURNS OUT IT WAS A STRONG PERSUADER. I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT MORE BLUES ALBUMS AND BECAME A MORE WELL ROUNDED PERSON FOR IT. I AM ALSO MORE POPULAR WITH WOMEN BECAUSE CHICKS DIG THE BLUES.
