First real powerful album by Astbury/Duffy. She Sells Sanctuary is the driving hit, but Rain, Revolution, Black Angel, and Brother Wolf Sister Moon are also excellant tracks. A must have for guitar rock fans.

This seems to be the official awakening of the Cult...

This is the only Cult album that I like any more, but I like it a lot. "The Phoenix" is my all-time favorite guitar song!

This album rocks due to a number of songs, the best of which is She Sells Sanctuary: "I'm sure in her you'll find, the Sanctuary." That is definitely one of my top 5 songs of all time. Rain is an awesome song too; every time it starts to rain, I pop in my CD and blast Rain! The people in the apartment above me always bang on the walls that it's too loud, but those pricks are always blasting enya with 300% bass. Anyway, Revolution and a few of the other songs are notable.

This CD rocks so hard it is almost frightening. "She Sells..." & "Rain" are absolute alternative classics. This is best appreciated when listened to at a level that almost makes your ear drums bleed.

What a great album this is!! From the first sound of the psychedelic guitar on "the Phoenix" to the great classic "She sells Sanctuary", this is a disc that should be in everyone''s collection.

A wonderful album in psichedlic-new wave style. All the songs are very good, no weak song. Take it soon!
