I can´t find it either, but I know it great!

Does anyone know what Katie Jane Garside is doing these days? I heard she was going to do an album with the guy from the Sugercubes. I have not seen or heard anything on that.

Apparently, Katie Jane did go into opera. However, she may have just continued with her job as a record executive, which is what she did previous to the formation of Daisy Chainsaw. The group came out with another album, minus Katie (with a new woman singer) it wasn't bad. My EX-girlfriend has it I forget what it is called. I have everthing else by them, the first album and the two singles (or is one an EP?) at home. If you need the second album, I'm still talking to my "ex" (unfortunately), so let me know, maybe I can tape it for you, but it would be a challenge...Hope your dreams come true..DAN

Eleventeen is great, isn't it? I'm so glad there is a site for Daisy Chainsaw on the 'net at all, but can someone post an image of the cover to Eleventeen? I'm too lame to do it myself right now. And yes they aren't the same at all without Katie Jane. If anyone knows of any subsequent published works by her (opera or not) please post 'em. Thanks for letting me share. :) /tom

Katie Jane where are you! I adore Katie Jane, I adore Daisy Chainsaw, and I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING but Eleventeen which just isn't enough Katie Jane for me! Email please if you know what happened to her, I've heard things ranging from "she died" to "she pulled an Oli from Specimen and is living in South Africa."

This album has the sound that all the popular industrial bands are using now.They did it before everyone else did. But no one can copy Katie Janes vocal style.

Katie Jane is alive and well and living in London. I know her and see her periodically at gigs. She has been working on new material and was about to do some stuff for One Little Indian here in London. Unfortunately they have dropped all their bands except three (award yourself 3 brownie points if you can name them all) The boys in DC have a new band called Dizzy Q Viper which has released one single to date and done some absolutely brilliant gigs. In 94 I was watching Beavis and Butthead when Daisy Chainsaw "Love Your Money" video came on I was instantly hooked on Katie Jane Garside her ability to sing is incredible I am very happy there is somewhere for them on the web my biggest dream since I bought the album in 94 is to find them to tour with my band Silver Nial is just starting to get its act together mainly me getting some free time taking a year off of college but if anyone can get ahold of her please give me her address or something snail mail or whatever Thanks Jason Silver

After Katie left daisy Chainsaw, she did infact work with Enior Orn of the Sugarcubes in a band called FROSTBITE...she appears on a few of the tracks from the cd A SECOND COmInG.. it was released on One Little Indian in 94, i believe. I;m curious to know if Katie Jane will be releasing anything of her own in the near future too. I never gave Daisy Chainsaw II much of a chance since I just don't think you can ever replace a singer like Katie. Please Daisy Chainsaw Fans feel free to e mail me...

Katie Janes contribution to the Frostbite album is brilliant, in fact the whole album is good I ordered it really easily. The other boys from Daisy Chainsaw are now in a band called Dizzy q Viper and have released two singles which are also pretty good but I don't know if they are still going. Any news on Katie doing opera?

I love Daiy Chainsaw and this is the first site on the net that I have found on the group. I read everyone's comments about Katie leaving and this news left me totally depressed. I had no idea that she left the group! Daisy Chainsaw won't be the same without her thats for sure. She has that perfect voice and the face of a cute little girl that just can't be replaced! Hello... i found this DC song on a british comp called Volume the song was called "Upmanship Down". it's a really really great song but i havent seen it mentioned anywhere else!!! also for the band credits they listed KJ as "Katie Jane Pierce" and not Garside. mystery eh? DC should not have continued without her. a new singer doesnt fill the void.......

For anyone that wants to know, there is another release besides "Eleventeen." I don't remember exactly what it was called, but it was a 5 song EP with mostly different songs. "Love Your Money" and "Pink Flower" were on it, though. It was a different version of Pink Flower than on Eleventeen. I got it in Colorado about 1990 and have never seen it since. I don't even have it anymore, becuase I didn't have a CD player at the time, I bought it, recorded it, and gave it away. Big mistake. oh well.

I walked into Jerry's Records in Downtown Denver about a year and a half ago, picked up an EP by some band called 'Daisy Chainsaw' and fell madly in love. Katy Jane Gartside also sings on the industrial band Test Department's album Totality. As far as I remember, though, she doesn't actually sing any lyrics, but adds some very distinctive vocal wordless touches. It's on Kk Records, if you want to try to order it in.

I saw Daisy Chainsaw first when I was 13. It was my first concert and she came on and pulled off her huge wig and was left bold and cut up. I could probaably sew her if we were all Americans but then... Anyhow she is a truely royalty and I would love to know what she is doing now. I just want to say what nearly everyone else here has said...I fell in love with DAISY CHAINSAW-ELEVENTEEN when I bought the tape at a discount music store in Dayton, Ohio. Man, it must have been about six years ago I got it, my friend recommended it to me said I would like, she was right. Been trying to find the CD somewhere, anywhere since my tape is wearing down...

I've been searching high and low for three years for the album "Eleventeen". I'm just about on the edge of having a complete aneurism. I CANNOT find this CD anywhere. I've looked in every possible place. No one will sell it to me. Someone please end my suffering and sell one to me. I will pay an excessive amount of money. i first heard of them in a 92 magazine with Nirvana on the cover, i was never into them stupid magazines but i got it cause the one and only nirvana was on it, and under a thing on them was their band and i seen them and read about them and i really liked it, but no music store has EVER heard of them!! and i couldnt find ANYTHING on them, and then i watched Bevis and Butthead and seen a clip of theirs on it! and nearley died cause it was them!! the first tinme i heard their auctual music and i bloody loved it. but still no where to get their stuff, then i got smart and looked fer them on ebay and found eleventeen and got it and am obsessed with it. after all these years i finally got it!! so if anyone likes them has anything else on them, knows who they are, has anything they wanna sell? anything mail me, i dont know wnythin at all about them, i have no way to find anything on them. no one knows them

i first heard of Daisy Chainsaw on the show Roseanne and wanted to find info on them online but have found it very hard. all i know is that they are an alternative-punk band whos greatest album is eleventeen. i live in new jersey, very close to new york city, so if anyone can email me a biography or anything to tell me something about them, or where i can get the cd id appreciate it.

Katie Jane Garside is now fronting Queen Adreena alongside Chainsaw guitarist and two new guys pickin up bass and drum. I caught them at Reading festival in 2000 and they were astonishing...Katie's still the great mental performer she was with Chainsaw, asphyxiating herself with the mic wire, practically masturbating with the stand and fighting her old chum on guitar. They're alot tighter then chainsaw, with Garside's vocals taking on a much darker side because she's ditched the occasionally gutteral scream, for a more banshee-like catawarl, more melody, spikeyer guitar, pounding rhythm section...absolutely sound!!...they do a blinding cover of Dolly parton's jolene, way better then the white strpie's version, and i bought the album, "taxydermy" laast year, which really shows a maturing of garsides idea's and musicality, without comprimising the hardcore appeal at all. They were touring England alongside Seafood and My Vitryol late last year/early this year, which would have been a fantastic gig, bar the irony of my vitryol heading and queen adreena coming on first!!!, plus i missed it!!!! Anywho...any news of upcoming English tours would greatly appreciated.

Katie Jane and Crispin are currently working on a new band Queen Adreena. They have released 2 albums Taxidermy (2000) and the new one Drink Me - these both quick some serious ass and are well worth buying. I have no idea why this album didn't get more attention. I remember hearing "Loves Your Money" on my favorite radio station when it first came out. It got fairly good rotation for a week or two and then disappeared. Years later I caught the video on MTV! Every now and then I'll see eleventeen in a used CD store, usually slight cheaper than most other used CDs! If you don't have it, keep looking. The album is brilliant. Half the songs are Sex Pistols quality. Does anyone know why this is out of print or why A&M didn't push it harder when it was released?

queenadreena are still touring hard, and still being largely ignored by almost everyone! They are playing (with Manson, Deftones & Iron Maiden!?) at the download festival in Donington, UK on 31/05/03; and are supporting Marilyn Manson on his UK tour the following week. I can't wait to see Katie Jane blow him off the stage! Mind you, apparently they are old friends..... I bumped into the band at a gig in London recently, and Katie told me that the new album is out in late Summer. Also, for you DC fans, original DC bassist Richard Adams has been playing occassional bass for them....

For anyone looking for ELEVENTEEN, your best bet is to lurk eBay for a couple of weeks - just be prepared to bid well over $20.00 american for it - that's where I got mine. Any Queen Adreena (if not in stock) can be ordered at Hastings, Musicland, Sam Goody or your favorite chain music store. Believe me - eBay's your only real (quick) route to happiness. Oh - my 2cents: Katie rocked when she was pissed - all this Mansonesque artsy-fartsy posing with QA is for the birds. IT's sincerely passé, completely overdone, old, tired, predictable and - well, in a word: sad. Kicking out the Jams is one thing; riding naked bareback on your guitarist is another. If you ever get this far into the outskirts of the web, Katie - stop it. It's lame and meaningless.
