Comments for Alan Parsons Project, The, Vulture Culture

E-MAIL: IANT@SWIN.EDU.AU
Sounds like pop Parsons without the orchestra and with loads of synthesisers and vocal harmonies. Most lead vocals are by the main songwriter, Eric Woolfson. A deceptively simple album thematically: it deals with the Cold War, defections to Russia and the monetary ruthlessness of American society under the analogy of a two person relationship. A departure from all the other brilliant albums but often misunderstood by committed Parsonophiles, Ian Thomas, IANT@SWIN.EDU.AU
This album has one of my all-time favourite Parsons tunes onit, "Days Are Numbers". Overall, the album is ok, but itdoes contain my least-likes Parsons instrumental, "Hawkeye"
