Comments for Alan Parsons Project, The, Stereotomy

The instrumental song "Where's the walrus" is one of APP best instrumental pieces ever made, IMHO.

A little piece of trivia: The title Stereotomy comes from Adger Allen Poe's story Murder in the Rue Morge. It was a type of road surface. I believe it wasn't even a real word, Poe just made it up.

"Stereotomy" is the Project''s best since "I Robot." "Light of the World" is too often overlooked--it is one of APP''s most effective moments, providing a stunning variety of mood after "Where''s the Walrus?" The album is a masterpiece of musical cohesion through a varied motive.
Not Parsons` strongest entry. The title track is the strongest. The title means "the technique of cutting solids, as stones, to specified forms and dimensions".
