Comments for DeBurgh, Chris, Crusader

Well, I am surprised that this album has no comments added to it! I have listened to it over 200 times, and although it is not as great as "Spanish Train and Other Stories", I think it is one of Chris' best. The first song, Carry On, begins like a ballad and ends in pure rock. The Girl with April in Her Eyes is one of the greatest ballad's ever written and the title song, Crusader, although I don't like its meaning, is a great song, especially the guitar solo section. Crusader, the song, has a bit of anti-islamic tone, and because I am a historian and a muslim, I am not quite agree with what it says, but it does not make the song any less-perfect. also hear the song "the Devils Eye". If you are going to buy your first Chris De Burgh album, buy this one.

Crusader is perhaps Chris''s best album in my opinion. With the variety and scope of music covered on this album, from rock to ballads to love songs - I''ve never tire from listening to it. One of my favs is Quiet Moments - listen to it with a loved one! Richard
