Comments for DeBurgh, Chris, Man on the Line

An unusually synthesised and up-tempo album. The final track 'Transmission Ends' is very atmospheric. The whole album was very skillfully produced by Rupert Hine (also The Getaway & Power of Ten). Man on the Line & The Getaway must be Chris De Burgh at his very finest.

Finally available in digital format to enhance the sound of Rupert Hines high-quality production, "Man On The Line" is definitive Chris DeBurgh in my opinion. His unique way of vocalizing is on prominent display throughout, which is the genius of this recording. Many artists can sing, none quite like DeBurgh. Every song has character, no filler. "Transmission Ends" is worth the price of admission alone.

I totally agree and I love both of those cd's (Man on the Line & Getaway)! Chris De Burgh is the Best!
