Comments for Alan Parsons Project, The, I RobotE-MAIL: jlowe@central.georcoll.on.ca One of the greatest, and most underated, albums of the 1970's. Although dismissed as a poor man's Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons was clearly a genuis in the recording studio, and "I Robot" remains his greatest accomplishment.E-MAIL: kanzow@gmd.de I have a split view on this album. There are fantastic songs (After listening to "The Voice" I always turn the lights on and look if there's something creeping under my bed ;-), but "Nucleus" is just boring (press ">>"). But because of the first side (Tracks 1-5, of course 6, and 10), I rate it "9".E-MAIL: Isaac Asimov This album is junk.It does not obey the Three Laws Of Robotics. Who ever made this record suffers from a Frankenstein complex.E-MAIL: fluffyQ@hotmail.com Progressive, concept, yes, but rock,NO. A uniquely listenable mix of Rock and NewAge that continues to age well. Best: "I Robot", "I Wouldn`t Want to be Like You", "Breakdown", and "Day After Day (The Show Must Go On)". Rating: ***** out of 5.instrumentals2@home.com I Robot is the greatest album ever recordedComments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
