Comments for Deep Purple, Come taste the band

released in 1975, Bolin filled in admirably for former guitarist ist Ritchie Blackmore. Bolin co-wrote all of the tracks on the album and sang backup vocals. While remaining in the hard rock vein, Bolin pushed the band in new directions, most notably on the funky track, "Gettin'' Tighter". This was released simultaneously with solo album, "Teaser".
