Absolutely. Made in Japan is one of the best alumbs of all time. Blackmore and Paice are outsnading. Especially Paice. His drumming on this album is non-stop excitement.

The greatest hard rock live album of all time. Period. There have been many contenders but only one champion. This album cost me several sets of speakers, a couple of girl friends and probably my hearing! In it's original form, the mix is so bass driven that it THUNDERS! There are not enough adjectives to describe it. If you don't have this you don't know what Deep Purple is all about. Highway Star, Strange Kind Of Woman, Smoke On The Water, Child In Time, my god!!!!! This is not just the best live album, it is Deep Purple's FINEST HOUR! Ensemble playing at it's finest. A testament to a true "Killing Machine" aka Deep Purple. Jim C.

I think this is THE Purple album. The hole CD is so fantastic, that you have to listen to it yourself. What is there to say: The Best hard rock album of all times!

the guitar work by blackmore is some of his best to date!!!!
