Comments for calyx after this, Saturday Years

The 2nd full time album contains some very strange music. It´s difficult to put it into a category. Some tracks are more electronic, other more doom or black metal infuenced. After I took the 3rd or 4th listen, I had a chance to recognize some hidden melody-lines and/or structures. What got was an extreme nightmarish and confusing experience. Tip: Influxus, Abyss, Immerfrost are the most impressive songs on this album. Tracks like Seitenstrasse am Samstag or Something Strange in the Bathroom have more the characteristics of an intermezzo. The album is downloadable for free from the artists homepage. I recommend the lossless FLAC format for a higher level of listening pleasure and a deeper experience.

Interessantes Album. Sollte man mehrmals hören. Vor allem Influxus und Immerfrost sind beeindruckend.
