The long awaited reunion album! Not what most expected, it sounds a lot like JLT era Rainbow with Gillan singing. There are several outstanding tracks, Knocking At Your Back Door, the title track, Not Responsible (CD & cassette), Wasted Sunsets, Under The Gun and Nobody's Home. It was definetely worth the wait just to hear Blackmore wail with a passion again. This is without a doubt Blackmore's finest hour as a guitarist. He never got close to this level again. Under The Gun is just unbelievable! The production is superb, Glover's finest work to date. A must for Purple fans and guitar fanatics. Jim C.

Since noone's solo career was matching the legendary MK II Deep Purple, the band reunites again. The result is an album that is uneven and nowhere near the classics that MK II produced in the 70s. It does contain some of MK II's best moments though, the title track, "Wasted Sunsets" and "Knocking at Your Back Door." Had the rest of the album matched up to those brillant moments, the album undoubtely would be one of MK II's best album of all time. But as it is, it's still a good album.
