Comments for DiFranco, Ani, Puddle Dive

I think this is one of her best albums. Anyday is the most beautiful I have ever heard. Anyone who is a major ani fan please write. She is a goddess.

this is one of my favorite ani albums (of course i love them all!) "my IQ" is an amazing example of how effective spoken word can be, i.e., "they taught me different is wrong". the inflection in ani's voice conveys her attitude of what idiots "they" are. i have to admit that "blood in the boardroom" has saved me when i've been in boring meetings; i just imagine that i'll leave my own stain on their chairs and i feel much better! the thing about ani is that she's just so REAL! ya gotta love her! (i do, obviously)

this is my favorite ani album. she is angry, smart, honest, and EXTREMELY talented. "pick yer nose" is the ultimate nonconformist song; qustioning and intellectual without any anarchist sentiment. "names and dates and times" is fabulous an interesting twist on racial perception. totally fabulous like ani herself.

Ani rules! While I was studying in London this summer I had the ultimate pleasure of seeing Ani at a club called "Dingwalls". It was a tiny little place and so I was able to stand right in front of her the whole show. I assure you it was the experience of a life time. I would like to here from any Ani fans in my area. I go to Michigan State. Incidentally, Ani is coming to Ann Arbor (Univ. of Mich.) and I have my tickets already! puddle dive is really good for her she waste no time on this record . she has that gift for excellent guitar playing and creating such insiteful lyrics . iam really impressed what ever she does she is a true genuis and damn good musican . ani is in a class of her own very rare these days of processed junk.. stand outs are born on the 4th of july, gods country, pick ur nose they are perfect 10's i also love the blues'y feeling to born a. i recomend her to anyone who really loves real music can't wait to see her perform live in apr... tony
