Comments for DiFranco, Ani, ANI DIFRANCO

i think that this is probably some of Ani's most beautiful work; "both hands", "work your way out" and "talk to me now" are some of the loveliest songs i have ever heard. the impression you get from hearing her albums is that she's a tough person, no time for bullshit, but also kind and has a strong sense of justice, something more people in our world could use.

One of my favorite songs is "work your way out". I only had to hear it once and after that I needed to have it. Ani is extremely talented, as if I really need to say it.

"Both Hands" is the first Ani song I ever really heard...and it left me speechless. If I never liked another of her songs (impossible!), I''d still be a diehard Ani fan to the grave. Any human that can create a song that incredibly beautiful has my undying admiration. No person''s life is complete without having heard Ani.

DiFranco`s first record. The least shocking album in herdiscography, but by no means timid. Her lyrics rocked mefrom my tidy and secure world view, and I thank her for it.The production is basic (just DiFranco`s voice, accompaniedby her acoustic guitar or accapella), but the musicianshipis laid on thick. Track 13 is only on the CD.

ms difranco: you inspire my daughter. in these bubble gum times, i am so grateful that you have touched my daughter zoe... she was awe struck at your concert in the city... thank you....woodstock lives....barry white grooves, jim is still alive...if u would like..zoe writes...just please dont everr tell her i sent this to you...but she is angelic in her words...like you...i'd love you just to see them so u wil know u have touched someone..the most greatest thing anyone cld ever do in life ..thank you - i only hope u see this.
