The first album from Al''s new acoustic group is a tribute to the Argentinian tango master Astor Piazzolla. Listen for the beautiful, haunting sound of the bandoneon played by Dino Saluzzi. Great album.

For fans of Al DiMeola`s earlier electric work, this more atmospheric album may take some getting used to. However, this album is well worth a listen. Al steps back from the spotlight for the sake of some very good music, and still gives the listener enough displays of virtuosity to assert his place as one of today`s great jazz guitarists.
