Comments for Dio, Strange Highways

E-MAIL: gwaye@morgan.ucs.mun.ca
The latest DIO album is by far his best! He finally leaves behind the dragon/witches/demons image fot a more 90's feel. The music on Strange Highways is also updated and in my opinion picks up where the Black Sabbath's Dehumanizer left off - Black Sabbath's Cross Purposes is a major letdown. Therefore the Sabbath flame is to be carried on by Ronnie James Dio, not a pale imatator of the B.S. flame...

...but Tony Martin is an okay singer.

A heavy album, one of Dio's best.

Quite possibly Ronnie Dio's Best album to date. Much harder edged than any previous album. It has a more current feel and sound. This is one CD that you should have, whether you're an old Dio fan or have never heard him before.

Ronnie & company''s heaviest album to date and a true classic in my opinion. Recording "Dehumanizer" with Black Sabbath set Dio on the right path.
Not as good as his previous albums. (Dio was thesinger for Black Sabbath at one point (maybe still is)).
