While this album is distinctly metal-ish at times, it is, in my opinion, NOT metal. What it IS is an incredible, well-written album from one of the best bands out there.

You should all listen to "I Can't Remember". It's songwriting at its best.

This is the most metal sounding of their albums, but its not stupid metal like Metallica. What makes this album is the slow, dark, minor sounding tracks. Some of its great, some of it sucks.

I loved it before I became offended by overly commercial music... Good nonetheless...

A clear 10

This album is the best I have ever heard. Every song is well written, and Jerry is a master guitarist. Out of all their albums up to Unplugged, this is the best. Layne''s voice is raw, Sean''s drums sound great, Jerry''s musicianship is uncomparable, and Mike''s bass backings give it that extra push. Best album ever, well, excepet for that sing Confusion.
This is the first CD by AIC.
