Comments for Dream Theater, When Dream And Day Unite

This is truly one of the best progressive hard-rock albums! Although the sound compared to their later albums is every- thing but impressive, this album is by many fans regarded as the best. I compare this first album to Queensrych's 'Warning' album. Innovative and with songs that grow on you. The instrumental 'Ytse Jam' is the highlight.

A HORRIBLE ALBUM. Charlie Dominici cannot even compare to James LaBrie. I love Dream Theater but this album is not worth the 30 bucks I paid for it let alone, 15 dollars. The sound is absolutely horrible.

My first DT album was WDADU... I've loved them ever since!

this particular album is definitely a musical showcase but the singer needs to be beaten with a cattle prod. how old is that guy anyway? apparently he was the studio owner's father and in exchange for recording for free he got to sing on this cd. if i were him i would 1.) CHANGE MY HAIRDO 2.change my hairdo 3.) change my line of work. 4.) join up with Buck Owens and go on tour. that is unless Buck Owens is dead.

we all know that the songs on this album are great except for the singer... i'm sure he was just another fag... and the guy who said this is the best dream theater album, you should kill yourself, or i'll kill you tomorrow... are you a fucking gay lover of the singer guy or something? or have you just lost your fucking mind or something? you know what? you suck!!! fuck your ears, man!!! and fuck yourself very much!!!

If you are a smart Dream Theater fan, you should love this album. Though the sound quality is not near as good as the others, it is still FUCKING AWSOME. It is there most original, crazy, and maybe there most technical album. The singer does suck at first, but for some reason he grew on me and I like him now. The album really grows on you, you just have to give it a chance. I think it is there second best album before Images and Words, which is godly incredible.

This is an album I haven''t heard, but would love to add to my collection. I understand the singer is hardly James, but I can overlook that to hear the rest of my favorite band. As for the fag comments from that uneducated person. You would be surprised by the people who don''t fit that stereotype that you seem to know so much about. Get educated buddy! Jam on Dream Theater Fans!
