Comments for Dylan, Bob, Greatest Hits Volume 3

as one would expect from a "greatest hits", the songs sound very detached and out of context. otherwise, there is quite a decent selection from Dylan's repitoire (sp?)

This album salvages a great deal of continuity despite the inherent quality of detachment in the genre of the greatest hits album. I think that tracks 6-9 meld together so smoothly that they could have been produced originally on the same album. Album's weak tracks: 3, 5, 10 Best Songs: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8

a very good if incomplete picture of later works. some classic songs including "jokerman", a song that demands repeated listenings and gets better with each one.
"Dignity" is a previously unreleased track.
