Comments for Dylan, Bob, Mtv Unplugged

This is the worst album ever made by Bob Dylan. The guy can not sing for shit. He is so tone deaf. Thank You

anyone who says Dylan is tone-deaf has not a clue. For the record, Unplugged might not be the best album, but he does tear out "Desolation Row". That's worth the album right there.

Whoever said Dylan is tone deaf obviously doesn't know the first thing about music. No, it isn't THE BEST Dylan album, but hey, how many Highway 61 Revisited's can someone make in a career? Also, despite not being the best Dylan album, it puts most other people's masterpieces six feet under. And this album definitely has its highlights and merit.

Worst album he ever made huh? Well, there is "Self Portrait," "Saved," "Dylan," "Saved," "Slow Train Coming," "Saved," "Empire Burlesque," "Saved," "Live At Budokan," "Saved," "Under The Red Sky," "Saved," "Knocked Out Loaded," and, "Saved." "Unplugged" is a very good live CD with some very nice treats: "Desolation Row, " "John Brown," the "Like A Rolling Stone" on this CD is nice. This is one of his best live CD's and the only one so far featuring the never ending tour band. Now I hope he puts out an electric live CD with this group. I would reccomend "Unplugged" over any of Zimmy's live albums EXCEPT "Before The Flood."

Item of trivia: Has anyone noticed that on the cover of "Unplugged," Dylan appears to be wearing a facsimile of the black and white polka dot shirt he wore when he'd plugged in thirty years (almost to the day) at Newport? Is it just a coincidence?

It''s another fine performance for Dylan. Whoever said Dylan has made a bad album is close-minded and fickle. I love all Bob''s stuff and this record kind of sums it all up. Good for the beginner and the serious Dylan Fan.
