This is a fantastic album... it is almost perfect in every way and is best played very very loud.

Overall, a very good cd. I have the digitally remastered version by Rhino records. This includes an interview of the members of Emerson,Lake and Palmer. "The Making Of Brain Salad Surgery" is an excellent addition to this particular compact disc. Of the songs, "Still... You Turn Me On" is superb! "Jerusalem" is excellent! "Karn Evil 9" is magnificent! I can definitely do without "Benny The Bouncer." I am still cultivating a taste for "Toccata!" Overall, a very good disc worthy of a 8/10 rating!

Well it is definitely the one of the ELP''s best albums and it really damage my brains ! ;-)
This is my favorite ELP album. Karn Evil 9 along with the song Tarkus from Tarkus is probably their best work. This isthe album to get if it is your first one.

This is the peak of the progressive rock music of all time on the planet earth! Nobody can match the musicianship of these guys! All songs are superb! The 2nd. impression of the Karn Evil 9 is something very impossible to be played by a normal rock musician! The only thing that destroyed these guys was the jealousy of stupid guys that onlu knows how to plat punk songs. ELP ROCKS! Punk SUCKS!
