Oh MY GOD!!!! I thought that ELP fans had become extinct after the last ice-age. Still, that doesn't alter that fact that this is one OLD band - who stil sound AWFUL. Better luck next time, eh guys?

A band that is old, still wrote some excellent tunes. I admire them. And hope others give them the respect that they deserve.

Personally this is my favorite ELP album. From the heart- breaking Trilogy, to the beatiful From The Beginning (their best selling single), to the whimsical The Sheriff, this album has it all. In a time when synthesizers were still very new, ELP (and mostly Kieth Emerson) pioneered the synth revolution being some of the first musicians to use synths in their music and to incorporate it to such a large degree, This is a great album.

An excellent ELP album that is worth listening to again and again.

"Trilogy" is still my favorite "ELP" cd. The digitally remastered version on Rhino records is superb. The only "iffy" song on Trilogy is "Living Sin." The rest of the cd is superb!!! There is so much variety on this cd, from the "art-rock" masterpiece--"The Endless Enigma Parts One and Two and "Fugue" to the ragtime like ditty--"The Sheriff." "From The Beginning" and "Trilogy" are magnificent!! "Hoedown" is also great!! But, the one song that I always like to listen to is "Abaddon's Bolero." It is similar to Ravel's "Bolero" in the way that it keeps building throughout! Sincerely, Keith Davis

This is a very good ELP album. The weakness is Abaddon`sBolero. This song still bores the heck out of me.
