Comments for Enya, Enya

Enya's first album, recently repressed, repackaged and rena- med "The Celts". These songs are originally part of the soundtrack of a BBC series, "The Celts". This album is still quite unknown, except among fans.

Anything that Enya puts out on CD or tape,vinnyl,whatever is flawless. Just wish she would come out with something new. I've listened to all her music and looking for more.

This CD is the same as "The celts" which came out later. There are not big hits on it, but the beautiful Enya-sound. I´m not sure that it is able to get this CD in Europe.

Enya... it''s like a chorus of angels whispering in your ears as you slip back to past lives so far back that the laws of nature hadn''t yet been concieved... when the ancient Celtic world was still but a fantasy in the eyes of the creator. This is my favorite album (out of a large collection). I like it especially when I retire... let it play as you crawl off to sleep. (Let the CD player shut itself off after you''ve floated off to the ancient Celtic cozmos.) The later release (renamed "the Celts", from the BBC broadcast it was written for) is better than the first ("Enya") because they (at least partially) corrected a bad mixing on the original that had too much base and not enough treble. No matter how much you may like bass, this particular music does NOT need it at all and sounds best with the bass shut off entirely... turn the treble up to the max (even on the later CD) and be conservative with the volume. Otherwise, those "angels" get drowned out. I love this CD and like to turn people on to it. (Jim Dale 1/7/98)

i feel like.. enya isn't like a real human, she has pure heart with pure love. and she is like an angle. i love her a lot. every song of her make me feel like be cleaned.
