Comments for Erasure, Abba-esque

Erasure was the only group, that specificly got permission to make Abba covers, before the ten year contract became invalid. Erasure, that's our group!

In my opinion, this is by far Erasure's weakest work. I have everything that Erasure has ever done, and this is one of the only CD's that I don not ever listen to.

I LOOOOOOVE THEIR VERSION OF "TAKE A CHANCE ON ME!" Cool!!!

They do a great version of S.O.S. and add the emotion that was lacked by the original.

A funny CD with cover-versions from Abba

Erasure is the greatest group on the face of the earth. Abba-esque though it was not one of their greatest,it is a very good EP.

A Superb cover version of ABBA's tracks , Erasure brought new life to these songs , in an excellent mini album.

Only if Erasure could have covered more of ABBA's songs. I love ABBA, but Erasure kicks their bloody Swedish asses anyday! Could their be an ABBA-Esque 2 coming out?, this would be great!

Erasure does a great job covering ABBA. I would also recommend Abba-esque (Remixes), it's got some great Erasure Remixes of the Abba-esque tracks.

WHADDYA MEAN, mr. scott, "lacking emotion"? Erasure is a cheap plastic-pop musician, as can be seen by his other crappy songs like "Always"! I MEAN, such lame lyrics! "always, i want to be with you, and make believe with you, and live in harmony harmony...." My 2-year-old cousin could write better lyrics. How DARE you say that "S.O.S." lacks emotion in the original version? There is only ONE truly great pop group in the history of mankind - ABBA. All the rest is either boring or cheap imitation. Sux to you.

I am an ardent fan of Abba and I give the thumbs up to Erasure for these lively tracks. This are the most bounciest ABBA cover versions that I have ever come across.
