"My heart...so blue" is one of Erasure's best songs in my opinion.

This is a good album, but it is lacking in some key areas. I think that Vince and Andy were not used to each other yet, and that the chemestry was simply not there . . .yet. Andy became a much better vocalist later on also.

Tom or whatever your name is, Wonderland is a fabulous record. It is the best album because if listen to the words to every song, there is a meaning. And there is a huge chemistry to this album you idiot. Your not a erasure fan. You don't have any clue about erasure and their music. So shut the fuck up!

I agree with you, Simmon or whatever yor name is. Tom is an asshole, and he doesn´t know anything about Erasure. Reunion and Cry so Easy are great songs, I wonder why weren´t they a hit.

Here's a simple explanation as to why most people don't terribly LOVE Wonderland. It's simple. It's not complicated. The synth-work is highly trite, and you'd be better off listening to Yazoo for something along these lines. Now, don't get me wrong.. I absolutely LOVE Erasure.. so whatever your name is, don't you dare tell me to "shut the fuck up," but after hearing all of Erasure's other work, Wonderland just doesn't match up. It's entertaining, but only for the very best of fans. It could easily hurt one's opinion of the band.

Get the US. version of this wonderful album. It consist of 2 additional remixed tracks as bonus! Oh L'Amour (The Funky Sisters Remix) and Who Needs Love Like That (Love That Mix Version). A must for your collection!!

Listen to Wonderland. Think about it. Then listen to ISISIS or Erasure and give me one good arguement that Andy''s vocals did not improve. Give me one good arguement that the synths did not get more poetic and contemplative. You say that Tom is an asshole and knows nothing about Erasure. Okay, back it big guy. To say that someone is an asshole is not an arguement unless, of course are an asshole yourself. About a year ago I was using the address of tomgilb@msn.com and I come back a year later and find that I have been rather weakly flamed. If you felt so strongly about it, why didn''t you e-mail me personally? Because it made you feel superior to me to say that, because I have an opinion that differs from yours, I am an asshole and know nothing about Erasure. If you have something to say back it up with substance, not insulting drivel. Your comments were meaningless because you could not back them up. I stand by my original comments. Wonderland is a beautiful album that is a hell of alot better than anything on the radio or MTV today or ever, but, Erasure has undoubtedly improved since that first effort so many years ago. If you find that insulting, deal with it, or argue your case, but don''t insult me personally.
Erasure`s first album. Liner notes include some group history.
