Comments for Alphaville, Forever Young

Excellent album, with the exception of In The Mood. Contains my favourite lyric ever - "..there's a shadow on the graphic display, first he's smiling now he's fading away.." The best track here IMHO has to be A Victory Of Love, but all the rest are close behind with the exception of In The Mood which didn't make it over the first fence.

My two favorite ever songs is on this album: Forever Young and S.L.A.M. (Sounds like a Melody). This is a very good album.

"Forever Young" used to be my theme song when I was in high school--does anyone else feel old right now? How easy is it to track down the CD? All I have is "Forever Young" taped off of WLIR (now WDRE--92.7 in the NYC and Long Island area) and I really don't need to hear Larry the Duck's voice before the music.

I was 11 years old in 1984, when this album was released, but I remember fantastic feeling listening this album then. One of classic album of electronic pop/rock in 80-ies. It was very popular in Latvia.

Rediscovering this album was a great experience. One of the best synthpop albums of the 80's. Perhaps it lacks a litte at the end, I would've preferred a darker ending for it. But still a great record if you like the style.
