A lot of people underestimate this album, granted it was recorded with the London Symphony, but it was coreographed (sp?) and arranged by Ben Watt which proves his ability as a genius in my opinion. This was a "break-through" album I played at the University of Toledo on my show, most people dug it but many didn''t appreciate its hypnotic melodies and heartfelt sorrow. E.B.T.G. is not about love, its about not having love or the damage love can do to you. The thing is that the music is so damn beautiful that the average person considers it love music, but just read the lyrics to find the sorrow that goes along with it. After all The Damned said it best..."The Pleasure and the Pain - It tells me that i''m in love again!"
A VERY different album to the first (Eden, Love Not Money).Tracey Thorn (vocals) and Ben Watt (guitars) lead a lushorchestral backing through some great songs. Hightlights are Cross My Heart, Little Hitler and Come On Home (whichwas a fair hit for them). Recommended.

This CD doesn't play using Window Media Player 10 running XP Pro. Beware if you're planning to actually do the right thing and buy the content to ensure the artist gets their fare share !
