I am a fan of Everything But the Girl and have been since I heard them five years ago. There are a few of us in Utah. "Amplified Heart" is a great album. "Rollercoaster" is a song that gets in your blood. I'd love to see EBTG in concert -- somewhere. Does anyone know where (or if) they're playing in the Western United States? When?

I don't think they're going to go on concert again for a while. They haven't toured since Baby the Stars Shine Bright because Ben Watt was sick. Tickets in Los Angeles and San Francisco were sold out pretty quickly, even though there were several concert dates. I'd love to see them again. are they anywhere else on the internet? jay astudillo

where would I enter in albums that EBTG guested on or their solo albums?

Yes indeed, Those who didn't think the duo could plump deeper than Idlewild (and recover from the respectable, yet dull Language of Life) should be surprised in a very big way. The tracks on the CD get into your blood and stay there. A year after its release, I still listen to it in regular rotation.

I saw in a local paper that EBTG will be playing at the Filmore in San Francisco on November 10, 1995. Anyone wanna go with me? I'm in Berkeley...

This album, in my opinion, takes a lot of the tracks, especially the first title, to their roots of the bossa nova sound that made "Eden" such a good album. It is short, but like my favourite albums by them, short and to the point is the best.

I saw this album in the racks and thought I would take a chance. I'm glad I did. I have never felt so much emotion in an album. I immediately fell in love with this album. "Get Me" is definitely the greatest. --Brad

I definatly agree with what everyone has written about EBTG. Tracey Thron has a very hard to find import out from 1988 called "A Distant Shore", check it out, it is completly different than a EBTG album. "Femme Fatale" is a hilarious song! Also check out the demo of "Didn't know I was looking for love" of the "Roller Coaster" E.P.

''Missing'' is DYNAMITE!!!!!!! Tracy''s voice is sharp and yet very soothing. The new one ''Wrong'' is just as good.
Latest, and I think the greatest. Only drawback is it runsfor 36 minutes. At first I though ugh !, but played it 3times and I was hooked. This is this is their best, verysubtle in arrangement with every track great. Rollercoaster,Missing, Get Me and Two Star are standouts.PS. If there is anyone, anywhere, who knows anything about this duo please drop me a line. Noone has heard of them in Oz, and there is real drought of info. Thanks.
