Comments for FUGAZI, steady diet of nothingE-MAIL: 343p6ya@cmich.edu Released in 1991E-MAIL: jdzarnst@hilltop.ic.edu This is a very intelligent, very good album. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any of the other ones yet, but I've heard that they are at least as good as Steady Diet...E-MAIL: b51127@lcc.stonehill.edu this is my least favorite fugazi CD. definitely not their best work.E-MAIL: prox@cis.minerva.yale.edu This album and Repeater are my favorites...E-MAIL: henry@vnet.net Repeater is much better. Still, all things Fugazi rock.E-MAIL: chesss@marlborough.la.ca.us I have always liked this album because it is reminiscent of their NY hardcore days, but it also has components of the more refined Red Medicine, where they experiment more with sounds and concepts of music. The lyrics, as always, kick ass, and if I were religious (not counting the Church of Abraxas), this would be my Bible. Ian, I am still waiting for you to play more gigs in Los Angeles (preferably at my house)E-MAIL: beethcake@hotmail.com I will always remember this album as the one that got me into fugazi. It is not one of my favorite fugazi albums, but it is stilla great listen. It contains some of fugazi''s best songs like reclamation and long division. Steady diet of nothing is a great album.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
