Comments for Fagen, Donald, The Nightfly

Fresh and exciting! Resembles late Steely Dan work, but Fagen is free to go his own way -- and cranks out a master- piece. A great track is "New Frontier." It''s not sacred sounding, like "Gaucho" or "Aja" but it still blows me away every time I listen to it. Believe it or not, it was the most expensive album in music history to record and engineer. Ever notice how great it sounds? Almost sounds like digital. It''s a Donald Fagen/Steely Dan trademark.
