Undoubtedly one of the best metal albums ever, combining shifting dynamics, blood chilling vocals and superb musicianship to create a sonic environment of fierce cosmic rage, moral outrage and seething vengeance. All the more phenomenal and unique for the female vocals of Dawn Crosby, whose voice recalls qualities of the possessed in The Exorcist. Dawn can evoke dread, sorrow, and danger with the unerring sense of a great dramatist. That this album was not enshrined in a gothic speed-metal hall of fame is an inexplicable injustice.

I''ve had this album for four years now, and every time I listen I discover something new in its limitless depths. Dawn Crosby is simply the finest metal vocalist, ever, and one of the best lyricists. The obscurity of this band is sad proof that talent doesn''t sell.
