My copy is part of the marvelous series that Trip Jazz released in the mid 1970''s. Trip superimposed photos of the front covers of the original releases onto their covers and used original notes on the reverse. I''m a big Bill Holman fan (he did all of the arrangements) and this is a truly excellent example of some of the West Coast style arranging and musicians that defined that era (mid 50''s). You''ll hear everyone get a share of the action. This was recorded just before MF kept a full time orch., but while he was first call trpt. for one of the big movie studios and had time to put together small groups of top notch W.Coast jazzers between rounds of golf! Enjoy!!

This was also released in the early 80`s as a Japanese reissue.
