Comments for Ferguson, Maynard, Europa Jazz (?)

Pilatus and Foggy Night appear to be from the album "Maynard and Gustav".

....And those two tunes are dull to the extreme.

The album`s program notes are not full of detailed information. "Printed and manufactured in Italy", doesn`t give refrences for Maynard`s two songs, the album states "Live Recording" (all in one concert?), has nice 1980ish picture of the Boss on inside cover (but my favorite photo is still the one on the cover of my autographed "Trumpet`s On High" album!

Folks, Maynard does not play on this album, even though it has his picture on the cover. The two tracks from the Maynard & Gustav LP that are on this compilation LP did not have MF playing on them. This can be verified if you check the CD version of Maynard & Gustav. Still, most collectors will want this since MF is pictured on the cover.
