An absolutely awesome debut that was originally released by Shrapnel Records. Ted Pilot has an outstanding voice and is classically trained (check out the end of "In The Fallout"). Ken Mary on drums is in peak shape on this one (also look for him with Alice Cooper, House of Lords, and Chastain). This is an out of print title, but is definitely worth buying if you can find it. There isn't a bad song on here.

It is really a shame that Fifth Angel never really caught on. Both of their albums are extremely well done, and I wish they would've been able to put out more.

great great album one of the best

I have to agree with the previous reviews. I bought this album after seeing it referred to in the ads for Ted Pilot's vocal instructional tapes. It turned out to be one of the best albums I've ever heard by anyone, ever. You want intense vocals? Got it. You want screaming guitars? Got it. You want thunderous drums? Got it. I wrote to the band at the label's address and Ted replied with his home adress. We wrote back and forth for a while and he was genuinely interested in my comments. Great guy, great band. Too bad the industry is so corporately influenced. These guys should have been HUGE.

FIFTH ANGEL rocks! One of my favorite bands of all time. If these guys would have would have started out about 5 years sooner, they would have been huge. I first heard them on the old Howard Stearn show on WOR channel 9 during the closing credits. Ever since then I looked everywhere for their LP. I''m happy to say now that I own both CD''s.
