Comments for Fixx, The, Walkabout

Overall, a solid album. The extra untitled track on the CD is one of the better songs.

The "untitled" song at the end of this album is called "Do What You Can" though it is not listed on the album cover. It begins after a minute or two of silence after "Camphor". I have seen copies of the CD that do not contain the extra song though, and here is a way to tell if the song is included. If "Camphor" is listed as being 10:46 in length then it is on it, if it is listed as being 3:55 long then that CDdoes not include the extra song.

It is unfortunate that this is one of the least listened to of all the Fixx albums. It is possibly the deepest and most intellectual release from one of music''s deepest and most intellectual bands. This album soars ''with mental wings.''
"Walkabout" was a rather quiet album for The Fixx. The onlysong that stirred in the charts was "Secret Separation".This album seems to mark a beginning of a slowing down forthe band in producing music.
