Comments for Flying Saucer Attack, FurtherFSA stuff appears to fall into two categories: instrumentalmass of noise and feedback, or, straightforward guitar-strummingsongs with echoey vocals and a huge mass of noise and feedbackin the background. They produce an excellent sound, sometimes really bleak and desolate. No new ground broken however. They`re something of an amalgamof the psychedelia of late `60s Floyd, TD, Can, the ambient ofmid `90s and the introspective angst of alternative indie bands like Slowdive and The Jesus and Mary Chain. A recent interviewwith DJ John Peel says they were heavily inspired by `70s Popol Vuh.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
