"US" was one of the best selling albums in the U.K. in 1993. The only single which succeeded from the the album was "Steam", the video to which was undobtedly the best video of the year in terms of originality. The album has an overall warm feel to it, with excellent bass guitars on all the songs, and tremendous sonics achieved by help from the likes of Sinead O'Connor and Daniel Lanois.

One of my all time favorite albums (except the success of Steam had turned me off of it for a while (until it slowed down on the radio)

The best album of 1992, and one of the defining records of my life. Listening to ''Secret World'', ''Come Talk to Me'', ''Digging in the Dirt'' and ''Washing of the Water'' always bring back a flood of emotions!
