Comments for Gang Of Four, A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

E-MAIL: mcfarsc@springfield.grumman.com
This does not contain all of the best tracks from "Entertainment" and "Solid Gold". However, it's a decent taste of the band and does have some hard-to-find 12" B-sides and such on it.

This is unfornately the only Gang Of Four album I own at the moment, and I say it has lead me to want to explore them further. All the tracks on the album are worth a listen. The music on side one stands out better than the stuff on side 2, although it is still quite good. This is a recommended intro. to Gang Of Four, and it great driving music. I have almost killed my tape I play it so often.
A COLLECTION ALBUM FROM GANG OF FOUR, A POLITICAL FUNK-PUNK? BAND STARTED IN THE LATE SEVENTIES, AND CONTINUED RELEASING ALBUMS THROUGH THE EIGHTIES. HARD TO DESRIBE, BUT FANS OF PUNK MUST CHECK THESE GUYS OUT!!!
