STRANGE RAIN, Godfrey`s 1996 release, like his 1995 recording BLUE NIGHT, features entirely electronic music. Unlike BLUE NIGHT, with its mainly acoustic-like instrumental sounds, STRANGE RAIN is much more an"electronic"adventure, and is both a departure, and a return to earlier explorations. Along with his intricate and melodic ambient pieces, on STRANGE RAIN Godfrey has included music influenced by his score-writing for film and animations.
