Simply the best ROCK-n-ROLL band and CD to ever be released! A breath of fresh air in the NO TALENT (Nirvana) 90's.

JUDGING FROM THE ABOVE COMMENTS, OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF 12 YR OLDS HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET NOW. YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THE LEAD SINGER OF A BAND IN ORDER TO ADMIT THAT THEY ARE A GREAT BAND. THIS ALBUM IS IMPORTANT NOT ONLY BECAUSE IT REALLY IS A GREAT ALBUM, BUT BECAUSE IT PAVED THE WAY FOR HARDER EDGED MUSIC TO GAIN MORE MAINSTREAM ACCEPTANCE. SO WHO CARES IF YOU WHINY LITTLE PRE-PUBESCENTS DON'T LIKE AXL, I DON'T LIKE AXL EITHER, BUT THAT FACT DOESN'T DIMINISH THE IMPORTANCE AND VIRTUOSITY OF THIS ALBUM.

I'll try to be objective: THE BEST ROCK ALBUM EVER RELEASED IN THIS FUCKING PLANET. As you will deduce by my email address, Black Sabbath are possibly my favourite bend, but man, I have to bow in front of this masterpiece. It has everything: sound, lyrics, attitude and most of all: TWELVE GREAT SONGS THAT, LIKE IT OR NOT, HAVE BECOME TWELVE ROCK CLASSICS FOR THE HISTORY. Honestly, I think that every single baby that is born in this world, should be given a free copy of 'Appetite' when s/he is born. Guns N'Roses will never create such a honest and spontanious work. This is GN'R at their best. This is simply: ROCK 'N' ROLL (Yep, with capital letters)

THE BEST ALBUM OF THE ROCK N'ROLL HISTORY

First of all,this IS DEFINITELY one of my all time favorite records. It is without a doubt one of the greatest rock records EVER made. Unfortunately it is perhaps the greatest example of a "one hit wonder" known to man. This record is the most amazing album of its time. Heavy metal fans of the time(metallica,etc) loved it because it was heavy as shit and classic rockers loved because it was melodic and bluesy. the songwriting is simply brillliant,giving a slap in the face to all those silly bands like Poison and Warrant. It was music for outcasts, music from the street.And i personally find it very sad that once ths album went Megahuge that the band started(apparently) thinking they were "artistes"(axl) and released the incredibly overblown Use YOUr Illusion records.One of the things i liked about G n R was the 5 members had distinct persoalities and looks,etc. after this record it became a 2 man outfit (axl/slash). just like alot of other bands (KISS with gene/paul, aerosmith with Steven and Joe) its a damn shame what stardom does to bands. a damn shame. nevertheless this album ruled.rock n roll classic nuff said

I think that Axl Rose is the greatest singer of all time. No album ever written could even come close to the caliber of this one. I give Axl all my admiration for a job the best done. I do however just wish that Axl and the original guns would get back together - i mean they are absolutely and unquestionably the best band of all time.

This is one of the best albums ever. You have to give these guys their credit. Appetite was raw and honest, harcore and melodic all at once. Axel and company delivered one of the best rock albums ever.

How can anyobody not give this a "10"???? The hits are the greatest songs US radio ever played and the darker tracks like "Rocket Queen" and "Out ta Get Me" are even more amazing. Slash, you rule, don't waste your time playing on shitty songs like that Blackstreet crap.

Di Martino says that Steven is better than Matt? That is wrong because Matt ain't fat,but he is a very good drummer. And Axl is not a cryin' baby!He is the best singer I have ever heard.I hope that nobody will forget him!
