Chesney Hawkes - The One & Only - CAT No: F2 21861 This is quite a good album, but his best one is 'Get The Picture' - which was not released in the UK. My all-time favourite pop-star, Nik Kershaw, wrote The One and Only track, and also 5 of the tracks on 'Get The Picture' and another track for one of Chesney's 'b' sides. Will Ches make a comeback? - I hope so, especially if he collaborates with Nik once again, as together they make a great team. If only the record company would promote the material!!

The One and Only is a great album; it is too bad that it is no longer made in the United States. It would be nice to see Chesney Hawkes in the limelight again. For those of you who caught the movie "Buddy's Song", Chesney is a pretty good actor, too.

Well, all in all a freshly sounding CD. As for me considerably beter than Ches!s 2nd CD released in 1993. Tracks No. 5 & No. 7 are the hits for me on this CD. Since 1991 I have lisened to numerous records, but 9O % of them was really weaker than this `Buddy!s Song`. I am hoping for seeing Ches in a concert OR having his 3rd album -preferably in my life-.

Bought a tape of this album back in'91 for my son's 8th birthday, and wound up liking it much more than he did! Quite a talented lad - too bad we here in the states never heard any more from him!

I think chesney hawkes is the greatest ever and heard he was making a come back with his london band, i hope so his the greatest and the one and only, he is my favorite artist of all time! I liove all his songs!!!!!.... xxxxxx
