Comments for Howard, Miki, Come Share My Love

Promising debut from a distinctive and exciting vocalist. Title track and "Love Will Find a Way" showcase Miki`s fine pop/soul vocal skills, and "I Surrender" combines fine production and a strong performance to create a memorable pop/dance tune. Some of the material, like the midtempo "You Better Be Ready to Love Me" and the ballad "My Friend" are a bit lightweight, but just listen to her stellar cover of the jazz chestnut "Imagination" or her belting soul stance on "Do You Want My Love" to let Miki prove what a well-rounded and unique vocalist she really is. A strong freshman effort.
