Part of the West Coast acid jazz scene. Nice funky grooves, great soloing from all the members. Oh yeah, they are: Charlie Hunter: 8-string guitarbass (formerly of Disposable Heroes of Hiphopricy) David Ellis: Tenor sax Jay Lane: Drums (formerly of Primus, now with Sausage) This was produced by Les Claypool, and put out through his Prawn Song label. I saw them at Lolla ''94, and they were sweet! Just put it on, kick back, and watch your head start bobbing. Shmoov jazz. They have now moved on to Blue Note records.
