Comments for Husker Du, Warehouse: Songs and Stories

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard. And it's the best Husker Du release. Just listen to those great and powerful songs, to their great lyrics and their outstanding atmosphere. I think I've listened to this album several hundred times and still love it. The best songs are the Mould songs. If you listen to them you will find out what it means to perform real songs. Start with 'these important years', then skip over to 'could you be the one' or 'ice cold ice', 'visionary', 'friend, you've got to fall' and (of course) the fantastic 'It's not peculiar'. Consult your record dealer immediately, buy this album and you will see: 'Once you see the light, you suddenly - realize it might end up all right'. Have fun, Goetz.
