Comments for Iona, The Book Of Kells

E-MAIL: brsp@ukc.ac.uk
This is Iona's first album featuring Nick Beggs on bass & Chapman Stick. His presence is felt, & adds something unique to the Celtic-style music. Although a Christian band, I believe their music speaks to anyone; I am not religious myself, but the music on this album is gorgeously-executed & lovely to listen to. Recommended.

Well said, Ben. Nick Beggs certainly did add something to Iona''s sound, making them even more unique. I really like the song Chi Rho. These words are the first two Greek letters in the Ichthus fish symbol.

I sure hope that I got the right sight. I loved the Music,Now If I only could learn the lanuage. I am thankful that we all can worship our saviour in differant kinds of music. I love how the celts bring much of the music to life, but then prhaps it has touched a bit of the Irish that is in me. Thank you.. By the way, I Did notknow that you Named your selves after an Island. Here I thatught it was a name of a person. My Cd long since has been lost and I plan to get others to. Could you however direct me to any litrature that could help me shed some light on the celtic language? May Your Christmas be warm and bright. May Christ richly Bless you. In Jesus name, until we meet again.
