Piece of Mind is a Maiden classic. It rocks from beginning end, with a short lapse of quality during "Sun and Steel" and "Quest for Fire." But the rest of the songs are mesmerizing. "Revalation" is a relatively slow song, but the lyrical quality is superb, and Bruce Dickenson's vocals make it ideal for a song about religion. "The Trooper" recounts the final battle depicted in the poem, "The Charge of the Light Brigade," and is one of the best anti-war songs I've ever heard. The rest of the songs are equally excellent.

Every Iron Maiden album has a distinctive personality, an unique voice. "Piece of Mind"'s voice screams all the way through. "Revelations" is divine; "Die with your boots on" just plain rocks; and "The Trooper" is an ultimate classic.

One of Iron Maiden''s best albums. Best song is The Trooper. Absolutely great!
