My favourite album with great songs like "Wasted Years", "Alexander the Great" and the others........ Good guitars, bass, voice... Very great album............

This is one of those albums that if I ever start listening to, I can't turn it off until it's over. The only song I don't care for is "Alexander the Great," but it did inspire me to do an "A" research paper on the guy back in Western Civ. class. Perhaps this was, as is stated above, just an attempt to stay up to date with the "80's synthesizer market," but it turned out a lot better, IMHO, than Judas Priest's stab at it with their "Turbo" album.

Another good one from Iron Maiden ... a different style but nice quality!
A nice try by Iron Maiden to tap the `80s synthesizer market.A couple of great songs: Wasted Years, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, and Stranger in a Strange Land. Once again Steve Harris provides he does not take a back seatto anybody in the bass department. A good album by any other band, but below parfor Iron Maiden.
